Do you keep hearing hardly plausible stories about „how I got a flight from Europe to the USA for only €5″ by half of your relatives and friends? Or stories of a similar kind about how your closest friend managed to fly exactly the time he or she wanted paying half the price for the same route you had taken earlier?

Let me tell you, it’s mostly a great deal of luck, coincidence or it’s just a show-off. Though there are several tips how to game the system and get your really cheap.

If you book your trip 4 – 5 months ahead (or sometimes even earlier), you are highly likely be rewarded by better airfare than others. Airlines simply tend to prefer certain income.
The other way how to get your flight really cheap is to wait for a good to show up. But be aware – these air deals usually give you exact dates when to travel. Be aware that higher price usually applies to weekends and public holidays. The best thing you can do is travel on Tuesday or Wednesday.
It’s improbable that the air special you just came across would suit your demands exactly. On the contrary, it’s likely you will have to compromise on your travel dates in order to get the best air deal.
One-way tickets might attract your attention with extremely low price but what is it good for if you have to pay twice as much to come back? It’s just better to book a round-trip in most cases.
The more you learn about discounted airfares, the better. As the competition in the air industry gets quite tough, the hunt for a customer is endless.
Get informed about air specials from your city. Feel free to try myairdeals.com or similar web sites when looking for , Paris, or others.

Paella, Falles Festival and the City of Arts and Sciences are what defines Valencia, one of the most populous cities in Spain. Facing the Mediterranean Sea, it is four hours to the south of Barcelona and 3 hours east of Madrid. Those on a Eurail pass should consider a side trip to Valencia while in Spain, to experience a city rich in history and arts.

Valencia was founded by the Romans in 138BC. Several cultures inhabited the region, but the longest of which are the Moors who brought with them influences that are still part of contemporary Valencia. In 1094, El Cid, or Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, conquered Valencia. King Jaime of Aragon made Valencia a kingdom. During the 15th century, Valencia prospered; towers, buildings and several structures were constructed. Several wars in Europe and Spain transformed Valencia into what it is today.

          ]]>

In Valencia, there are so many things that you can do. Religious sites are everywhere, from Iglesia de San Juan de La Cruz, Convento de Santo Domingo, Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados, and Seu where you can see the supposed Holy Grail. For those crazy about museums, there is Instituto Valencia d’Arte Modern, Jose Benlliure House, El Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia San Pio V and Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. If you are the kind who likes playgrounds, parks and zoos or if you have your kids with you, there is Gulliver with a mini golf, skating rink and other conventional playground features. Parque Natural de la Albufera is a park where you can be in tune with nature. Oceanografic is a large aquarium, and the 25-acre Bioparc Valencia is a zoo with safari-like experience. Valencia also has a must-see, must-visit location which is voted by UNESCO as World Heritage Site; La Lonja de la Seda is an architectural building in Valencian Gothic style built in 1483. After being amazed inside this building, step out into the sun towards Mercado Central for some souvenirs, a plate of paella and jamon.

By air travel, Valencia Airport is 9 km from the center of the city. Valencia is well served by airlines from across Europe. If you are traveling on a Eurail Pass then traveling to Valencia by train is a great option as the main train station, Estacion del Norte, is located at the center of the city just adjacent to the town hall.

Swiss German hair and make-up artist Cyrill Zen has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion – Clients include Hermes, Paco Rabanne, Chloe, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Elle Macpherson, Elle and Vogue.

Two years ago, he decided that he’d had enough of the non-stop travelling that came with the job and realised his dream of opening a very unique salon. “I wanted to have a private space, more like an apartment and more exclusive than a shop, with no windows, so that people could not see my older clients with foils in their hair and the VIPs could feel comfortable too. Somewhere special.” And special it is.

Cyrill Zen is a calm retreat in the centre of the city, tucked around the corner from Santa Eulalia church. Inside, Anette, Cyrill’s wife and former fashion editor of German Vogue, has created an interior for the salon that lives up to the family name. It’s a vast expanse of white punctuated with colour, sleek retro chairs for clients to relax in whilst they are transformed and chaises topped with fluffy cushions for lounging and leafing through endless piles of glossy magazines.

The space seems huge, which is mostly because it’s devoid of other clients, the ultimate luxury.

Cyrill aims to have just one client in the salon at a time and doesn’t reserve the right for celebrities. It’s the antithesis of conveyor-belt style hairdressing where you’re gowned-washed-cut and blow-dried within the hour, having heard where the person next to you is going on holiday this year. A hair cut at Cyrill Zen is akin to a Spa experience.

          ]]>

First, a relaxing thirty minute hair treatment using organic Aveda products and hot towels replaces a regular wash and is carried out by Jill Willé, Cyrill’s delightful hairdresser and assistant. For two years Cyrill had the exclusive sale of Aveda products in Spain. With the advent of their flagship store in Madrid, his is still the only outlet to be vetted by the company and stock the products in Mallorca. “People buy the most expensive cream for their faces and then use cheap shampoo” he laughs, explaining the importance of good hair products to maintain healthy hair when you live in the sun.

Then it’s to the chair for Cyrill’s undivided attention. “I like to give a lot of time to every client. We discuss and work with them until they are satisfied” says Cyrill who can chat in his friendly, unpretentious manner in Spanish, German, English, French or of course his native Swiss German. “We don’t stop until we get the result we want, we really take care” says Cyrill explaining that if a new client comes for a complete change of hair colour, it can take five hours.

Cyrill also takes bookings for ‘events styling’ by appointment, creating hair and make-up to perfectly match the clients’ outfit, so that they can travel straight from the salon to a special night out. Of course, he is discrete about the celebrities he does this for, but stresses it’s for regular customers who want to look their best too.

Between all of this, Cyrill still travels to work on campaigns and shoots, having just returned from a shoot in Paris for German company La Biosthetique. “The trips, I just need them, they’re so inspiring” he tells me, enthusing over the new wave of models in Paris sporting peroxide crops and short, sharp bobs with bangs. His tip for summer 07 is to keep hair short, a modern take on Annie Lennox, or to give longer hair a 60s up- do, and pair with silver, glittery make-up – a futuristic take on glam rock.

Cyrill Zen is at C/Can Sanc10, 07001 Palma and is open 10-7 weekdays, 10-4 Saturdays and at other times for events styling, by appointment.

Good luck in your quest!

Getting an US visa is not that easy while compared with other countries Visa process. The last process in this Visa process is the final visa interview with the consular section of US embassy Barcelona. If a couple is applying for a visa to travel to United States, then they will have to provide all necessary documents that are required for applying the Visa. The consular will also verify whether they are truly married couples and do they have any civil or criminal cases against them at any situation. Such other similar process will be done as per the USA embassy information.

At time of interview if the Consular requires additional information on their Visa, then they will put on hold the visa form and ask to submit more details and proofs as required by the USA embassy information. Or if they suspect it to be a fraudulent people applying for Visa, then they will issue a Visa rejected letter and move the case to fraudulent department. To further investigation if they found it is a genuine case, then they will provide the Visa or actions will be taken accordingly. Under the current process in US embassy Barcelona, if the Visa papers needs to be obtained approval, then the passport will be held at Consular office and the couple will be issued a Re card. Red card is nothing but a card issued with date and stamp mentioned on it to collect the Visa from the embassy. It is called as Red card because the details stamped are written in Red.

There are two types of Visa, one is migration visa, this visa is applied for people who are going stay permanently in US, and immigration visa is applied for temporary reason – either for business purpose or for pleasure. US Visa information guide will be very useful to all the travelers because it consists of all details that is required in getting all documents that is necessary for a Visa. Also the travelers can get details about US Visa information guide from the websites. There will also be few details available like whom to contact, where to submit the documents etc. So having details gathered from US Visa information guide is very helpful.
